Here are some tips on making your sugar skull. First on putting your sugar skull on the cardboard. let's get started! Place astiff cardboard over mold which ia little more bigger than mold. Put cardboard mold and carfully tip over and tap on top of the mold to get out sugar skull. Make mistake put sugar back into mixing bowl. Now for the meringune powder you have to be spefic. for meringune powder must or masy be bought/odered in 4 oz, 8 oz and 1 pound. the most reliable brand is CK products it is strong and makes a very good sugar skull. which can be found in Sur La Table stores or online and catlogs. Another tip is sugar mix too wet ? if your sugar mixture doesn't fall out of the mold easily it's because of the mixture is to wet. so remix with alittle more sugar. hand wash your mold after a few skulls to avoid getting sticky .
